The Guild appeared at Lodge Park, in Gloucestershire, on the last weekend in May 2009 to help celebrate the National Trust's Food, Glorious Food! week. We don't usually stage events based entirely on food but we made an exception for this one. Our goal was to demonstrate the food and table etiquette of the early 17th century, and what better setting than the banquet house and deer-coursing grandstand built by John Dutton in 1634. We arranged two separate table sittings, each of eight Guild members, on both days of the event - quite a logistical feat for a small team. There is a short video of this food aspect on our Front Page, but we wanted you to know that we didn't spend all the time eating so below is a selection of photos taken at the event by Ron Harpham.
